Calling all South Florida Alumni and Friends. This Saturday we need your support at C.B.Smith’s Park. If you don’t live in South Florida but you know folks who do you can show your support by giving your friends, family members – even your enemies a call and have them represent you or any one else. The proceeds from this event will help to provide improvements in the learning environment for present and even future students at St. Andrew Technical High School. Earlier in the year this Alumni Chapter spent thousands on the Cosmetology Department but more needs to be done. Daily, there are students who go to school without being able to have breakfast as well as those whose limited funds forces them to choose between walking to school or being able to buy lunch. This is a reality for some students even in affluent America, so we can just imagine how much more prevalent this is in Jamaica.
